What's in a name... Baclofen

If you want a clue on the MOA of baclofen, add "GA" to the front of the name to make GAbaclofen. Baclofen is a GABA B agonist used for its muscle relaxing properties.

  1. just wanted to point out that Baclofen is a GABA B "antagonist" cause it inhibits those receptors at spinal cord level

  2. No, it is an agonist. GABA is an inhibitory transmitter, thus facilitating relaxation.
